Digital wallpaper...sweet!

This digital wallpaper was created by Strukt. It uses multiple projectors in a black and white striped room, isn't this cool?!

Saab 9-3X interactive campaign... changing perspectives!

The agency Lowe Brindfors, from Sweden, created a website and a movie for the new Saab 9-3X. Now, this is what happens when good interactivity and beautiful form come together. In this case they totally deserve the money. It is fun to navigate, it is beautiful, it conveys the message and it is innovative enough to make you spend time at their website. The sounds also help a lot...turn it on!

Check it out here.

But if you have bad internet connection, watch the movie to see how it works:

Great Job!

Knorr campaign... could you pass me the salt?

Here's an example of a beeeautiful video campaign Knorr launched. It is cute and well done. Probably an expensive one. But doesn't convey the message... You don't really know what it is about. Maybe it needed a better finale...or should I say, a better idea?

The salt is sad, we get it, and then what? We expect something that never happens. It is probably because the client give more value to the form instead of thinking about the message.

If someone ever read this post and have a better idea for the end, I will be happy to hear it!

Video in Print by Pepsi

I feel bad I said a few posts ago Pepsi tries everything but Coke is still better. Actually, there's something good about trying to innovate every now and then. You keep your brand updated. And although the result is not good enough, Pepsi made a good effort being the first one to show video in a print magazine. I know it is not a new idea, but it is the first time I actually see it. Cool.

Have you seen it?!

Interactive Design for "waiting" times

You can say it is funny or stupid, but I did a similar project at school...mine didn't need a colour pencil or a pen (crosswords would be so nice!), it was about finding 7 errors... I kind of like it! =)

I would try a "where's wally" one, but I am not that good as an illustrator.

"Lemonade" trailer: there's life after advertising!

I found this online last week and I am very curious about the movie now!

"Lemonade is about what happens when people who were once paid to be creative in advertising are forced to be creative with their own lives."

It basically says there's life after advertising industry, although they advertise the opposite.

Check the trailer to have an idea of what is coming...

Simple and awesome Audi commercial...

Just to continue talking about "being simple", watch this commercial...

I decided to post this for everyone who thinks a video production has to be expensive to work.

Do you think it needs 3D? Do you think it needs a whole bunch of actors making a choreography? Not really. I have nothing against them, but I have to stand for the good ideas. The ones which does not need to get a lot of money from the client to make it look good.

It is simple, surprising and you may get yourself smiling in the end. Great work.

Sweeeet!

Coke x Pepsi: it is a branding matter.

Coke is much better than pepsi, that's a fact. It doesn't matter what our north-american neighbours say. And this post is to show how superior they have been in their branding campaign along the years.

I don't think I really need to say anything, just compare:

The logo didn't need any changes. Good design is just like that. It does not need to copy any other good design. It does not need any 3-D effects to work. Or anything else. It just works!

Why is it so hard to make a client understand "simple" works better? Why do they think designers have to come up with something completely "crazy" all the time?! It is so stupid. And even my 2-year nephew knows what I am talking about.

Great Heineken billboard!

Heineken always innovate in its marketing campaign, and it wasn't different with this one. It really calls attention. I would only say "a huge green hand" kind of reminded me of Hulk! If it was the intention, that's fine, but if it wasn't, maybe it would work better in a white, black or a "skin-colour" background!

What does it say down there? Anyone???

It is pretty cool, anyways...
