Special edition :)

The way I designed the package for the Siggraph dvd, it was meant to have a transparent box, so the dvd would match with the background and etc.
As we first got black boxes for the dvds, I created this second option...

DVD Authoring

There's something about dvd authoring that catches me...
I don't know if it is because of the details or because one have to organize everything, but while almost a whole class gave up on the course, I enjoyed it a lot.

For my dvd, I chose some Siggraph animations and I designed the cover, dvd label and booklet based in my favorite one: L'enfant de la haute mer - The child of the high seas.

Green on type?

It was very fun to learn about print this term! We designed an ABC book about typography, showing some important things everyone should consider to become a good print designer. Every student in our class designed one page (I did J for Justification) and we put them together, changing a little bit the illustrations so they would fit our design choices for the book.

In my case, I decided to use the colours to make the illustrations more consistent within the book. That's why it starts with green (as everyone new to typography) and gets colours along the process.

While we wait for the final print result, I can show the final pdfs for the cover and the book itself, the way they were sent to the printer, ready to be "french folded".

Blindness, the movie

For my branding class with Jessica Clark, I decided to brand a teaser campaign for the movie Blindness. We came up with a series of posters that would help to increase the awareness about this movie before they started to screen it(August 2008).

Here, you can check my case study and my final posters...

New blog!

Hi everyone,

I had been using VFS server to update my blog, but now I have my own domain(fancy eh?!).
I hope it will become, at least, easier to remember...
You are all welcome to read (and, maybe, have fun with) the last things I've been working on. Enjoy it!
