This video is a presentation of the subjects that inform and inspire my personal work. It is an eclectic collection that includes poetry, mysticism, mathematics, music, theology, quantum physics, sacred geometry, philosophy and visual arts.
In my body of work, each piece has served as a learning experience; an opportunity to discover new aspects of my own reality. They were not created to make any specific statements or assert any truths. Instead, I started every piece with the hope that an unexpected grain of truth would reveal itself to me. The value of my work can be attributed to this intangible process of exploration and its resulting ephemeral glimpses into the mysterious.

Back to reality...

It is funny, but it seems to me that I am back to reality now that I am posting again. Somehow I feel I have another existence in the virtual reality and I miss it when I have to get away from it. Anyways, I am back again. From the "real" life, in another dimension, I bring lots of inspiration...Living outside was like a dream and now I feel like I woke up and have so much to update here!

New logo design

This is the new logo I designed for a multimedia design agency "from Jupiter"!

The number 4 is actually the symbol for Jupiter in astrological charts. It was hard to create it in order to make it match the hobo typeface, but I think it kind of did! I just left a bit of personality to it, to make it stand out. Jupiter is the God of Heaven and had to be stronger to call more attention. It is represented by the moon on top (divine) and the cross (mundane).

My idea now is to play with different textures over the symbol, depending on the project. This is the black and white version of it.

It has been a while since my last post, I've been really busy editing some videos for Braztoa, Ministério do Turismo e Sebrae. But now it is 2009, and I'm back!

You guys probably read about the frustration of those who were expecting a revolutionary new gadget by apple and an awesome presentation on Steve' style, and it never happened. The new technologies fair in Las Vegas, wasnt very stimulating either. Thinner tvs, oled everywhere and nothing really awesome.

When I was checking the pictures, I saw a title: "tv to wear" (bad translation, it was in portuguese, Im sorry). I got very excited about it, thought it could be like a blouse or something, maybe many iphone-size screens that would reproduce different channels at the same time on your sleeve but, well...see it yourself:



quite sad huh? And if we think about it, Nam June Paik developed a more interesting use for them long time ago...



Hope 2010 brings new surprises! Work harder developers, you are the scientists of new age! :P
